With the QuSoft center expanding, so are the teaching efforts in quantum information science. Teaching is important to prepare not only future generations of quantum information scientists, but also professionals for industry. Three courses on quantum computing and quantum information theory start today, at different levels and for different programs. Ronald de Wolf is once again teaching his popular Quantum Computing course for the ILLC’s Master of Logic as well as the Mastermath program. Maris Ozols and Michael Walter are offering a new course on Quantum Information Theory for the Mastermath program, and Christian Majenz and Kareljan Schoutens are setting up a new Bachelor’s course on Quantum Information and Quantum Communication at Amsterdam University College, with the help of two teachers from that institution.
