Research line: Multi Scale Networks and Systems
Dr. Grosso leads the Multi Scale Networks and System research at the Systems and Networking lab. Her research focus is on the emerging architectures that can support the operations of the future Internet, and in particular on the delivery of secure and sustainable ICT services across multiple domains. Device programmability and virtualization play in this field an ever-increasing role in designing networks and ICT infrastructures. Dr. Grosso research tackles the challenges that emerge from studying the interplay of these novel capabilities.
She co-chaired the NML-WG (Network Markup Language Working Group) within OGF (Open Grid Forum). She is a member of the organising committee for SCinet at the SuperComputing conference. She is member of the steering committee of the ICT.Open and ICT.with.Industry initiatives in the Netherlands. Dr. Grosso has been involved in several FP-7 projects, namely NOVI, ENVRI, Geysers and MOTE. She currently participates in several H2020 projects, namely Fed4Fire+, GN4-2 and ENVRIplus, as well as in a number of national projects, SARNET, DL4LD, SecConNet and EPI.
