Research interests: Quantum and classical complexity theory, quantum and classical query complexity, quantum algorithms
Chris is currently a postdoctoral researcher at QuSoft and CWI, hosted by Ronald de Wolf and Stacey Jeffery. He completed his PhD at the University of Bristol, under the supervision of Ashley Montanaro. Before that, he obtained his Masters in Computer Science from the University of York, UK.
Chris is interested in the theory of quantum computing, with a focus on quantum algorithms and computational complexity, as well as quantum and classical query complexity. Of particular interest is the question of what physical resources allow for (quantum) computational speedups.
