PhD candidate at CWI
Sander did his bachelor and master degree in applied mathematics at the Delft University of Technology. He is currently a PhD student in the project “Approximation Algorithms, Quantum Information, and Semidefinite Optimization”, supervised by both Monique Laurent and Ronald de Wolf.
His research interests lie at the intersection of Quantum information theory and Semidefinite Optimization. He is in particular interested in finding lower bounds on the dimension in which a quantum correlation can be realized, using techniques from semidefinite optimization.
